News:

The Maidstone meeting closed on July 1st.

The Limerick meeting has closed.

The Saturday Hinde St BDA meeting has moved to a new location and day. This meeting now takes place on Mondays at 6.45 pm at Christ Church, Blackfriars Rd.

The Tuesday Ogle St DA HOW meeting now begins 15 minutes earlier at 6.30 pm.

The Ashburton meeting will now only take place on the first Saturday of each month, commencing Saturday June 5th.

The timing of the Tuesday Flood St meeting has moved back 15 min, so it now takes place from 7.15-8.30pm. See here.

The Sunday Swiss Cottage DA HOW meeting will not be taking place on Easter Sunday - back to normal on Sunday April 11th.

The Thursday Portobello Rd meeting is closing, with its final meeting taking place on 25th March 2010.

The DA UK Intergroup AGM will be held on Saturday 30th January at Westminster Central Hall. All DA members may attend, and unlike normal Intergroup meetings, all members are entitled to vote at this meeting. We will be discussing our spending plan and vision for 2010, so please come and join in! For more information about the venue, see here.

New meeting : A DA meeting based on the H.O.W. concept with a focus on Underearners is starting in W3 on Sunday evenings from January 17th.

Friday 10.00am Westbourne Grove is not meeting on Good Friday

Sat 11.00 Hyde Park Crescent meeting IS taking place on Easter Saturday, but there may be minor disruptions as the church prepares for Easter. This normally means 1-2 people walking through our room 1-2 times. The meeting will start at 10.30am on this day only.

Developments with the Cambridge Convention (March 7^th 2009): A welcome for families of debtors (DA-Anon).

The Cambridge Convention (see below) is making a room available for relatives and families of debtors who are seeking help. The Convention is an open meeting and friends and family will be welcomed.

The room will be available for a DA Anon meeting during the morning speaker session, running from about 10.15-11.00 am and if there is sufficient demand from11.30-12.00 pm. Newcomers welcome. The afternoon chair will be a shared platform of two members who are both debtors and both live with debtors.

If there are enough members willing to give service, we may be able to hold a few emergency PRGs during the afternoon but only for newcomers or those living outside of London. If you would be willing to give a PRG please let us know.

Please note: Although family members are welcome, we cannot provide a creche facility.

The DA convention on Sat 11th October was a great success, with people attending from all parts of the UK, Ireland, plus from Europe and the US. Huge thanks to Sabrina and all who helped! Put next year's convention (Sat 10th October 2009) in your diaries now!
